machine head album burn my eyes is the most brutal, heaviest and amazing metal album ive ever heard... the riffs ary brutal form beginning to end, the drumming inspired the bass work aggressive beyond most u have ever heard... milestone in metal history... LET FREEDOM RING WITH A SHOTGUN BLAST!!!

I interviewed MH when Burn My Eyes came out and I felt pretty much then as you do now. Brutality, precision, controlled rage, riffs to die for, great production, awesome guitar sounds, Chris Kontos' drumming... top stuff.
Now though, I think Slipknot wear the crown for that type of music...

Rob Flynn is a legend! Machine Head are a great metal band! I wouldn't call it the best metal album though.

i think its getting remixed and re released sometime soon,good disc,check out robb flynn & phil demmils old band Vio-lence- eternal nightmare,it shows where alot of MH sound came from
