Have you seen that video clip on Youtube of American soldiers taunting children for 1 mile with bottled water?

They were driving a lorry full of bottled water and they were making children chase the lorry for easily 500 metres.

Typical childish behaviour of the American soldiers out there. They think that the USA is so great and have been brainwashed into thinking that by being American makes them so much better than the rest of the world that they do these sort of things.

And then wonder why they aren't welcomed anywhere.

I've seen the clip.

First, where did you see that the truck was full of water?

Second, how could you possibly know the distance that was traveled?

The whole clip lasted maybe a minute but certainly not two. The truck was going slow enough that one child stayed close to it for a substantial portion of the clip. How fast do you suppose that truck was going? 5 maybe 10 mph? Could that truck have covered the distance of a mile in that period of time going that speed? Remember, a child stayed behind the truck.

Now, as for the water. Nowhere in that clip does it show that the truck is hauling a load of water. You see one bottle and that is it.

What makes you think that child was running after that truck only for the water? Perhaps the child was playing and was wanting attention from the soldiers.

You are certainly trying to put some sinister motive to what the soldier in that truck was doing and it is wrong. What is equally wrong is all of the idiots in this thread that are jumping on the bash Americans even though we don't know the whole story or truth bandwagon.

Grow up... all of you.

You Brits are proving to us Americans everyday just exactly how low you will go. A year ago I would have come to your defense for just about anything. Not anymore.

If the tape is truly representative of what really happened then their behavior is deplorable and they should be punished. However, just remember that people can be as*ses no matter what their nationality or country of origin is. The behavior of a few isn't representative of an entire nation of people. I've seen many Non- Americans, (for example), proclaim this very fact when it come to terrorists, and radicals from their country. So don't be so eager to paint w/ such a wide brush, lest thee be painted
(something some of the ignorant people that post their answers here should remember).

PS To a certain Brit: Let's not forget you wouldn't have a country if we hadn't saved your behinds in WWII. You'd be speaking German if we hadn't. : ) :) :) : )

Please. Children see worse on TV. And on the play-ground.

No one forced those children to chase the truck, nor harmed them in any way. And I think a mile is probably exaggerating.

Just mean teasing. And I saw 1 bottle of water, in the hand of a soldier.

EDIT: Us "yanks" have seen it no fewer than 3 times.

I incredibly have in no way heard approximately that happening in Iraq. whether I did see those F*ckers fly 2 planes into the twin towers killing 1000's of yank adult men women and young ones. i'm not condoning any infants women OR adult men being raped everywhere yet wheres the evidence guy? I not saying America is not a good country or that Americans are bad people. I just think your troops acting like that is disgraceful.

As far as the guy going on about WW2. I have a question for you.

How can America win the WW2 when Britian delcared war on Germany? You didn't protect us, it was our war. You were just allies.

Simply put, If Britain started the war then they won it.

If the French had won it, Britain would still take credit because the French were on the British side.

So regradless of what America did, if you won it for Britain then Britain won the war because we started it :-)
