Assume Porto vs Arsenal is a draw, and CSKA wins. All 3 teams will have 11 pts. NOW - how they played against each other: Arsenal will have to be above Porto; Porto above CSKA BUT CSKA above Arsenal?????? How are they going to untangle that?

sorry u lost me now... so right now Arsenal is above Porto by how they played against each other, NOT by goal difference, but if all 3 teams have 11 pts, it will be the GOAL difference that will seal the winners???? That does not make sense really.....

if the match between FC Porto & Arsenal produce a draw & PFC CSKA Moskva got their win in Hamburg, both FC Porto & Arsenal will qualify together no matter if PFC CSKA Moskva win.
all three teams will have 11 points if the results stood this way but the only way to separate these teams is via the goal difference from the group matches between these three teams. Arsenal (+1) & FC Porto (0) will advance to the knock-out stage while PFC CSKA Moskva (-1) will progress to the UEFA Cup.

If Arsenal and Porto draw and CSKA win, Arsenal and Porto will go through. Arsenal will win the group because of the better match results against Porto (2-0 win and the draw).
CSKA will only go through if either Arsenal or Porto loses.
Porto cannot finish above Arsenal (unless they win 3-0 or more). CSKA cannot finish above Porto.

It all matters on Goal difference. If Arsenal draw and CSKA win then Arsenal and Porto will go through.

in this case arsenal ,porto and CSKA will be 11 points so it will be porto and arsenal depending on the results between poto and CSKA as CSKA was defeated by porto in russia 2-0
