There were 991,655,000 1946 cents minted at the Philadelphia mint. The U.S. has cents not pennies. So they are far from scarce. Only in ultra high mint state grades do they have any real value. Most dealers sell them as a regular wheat cent, price 2-5 cents. If it is an actually penny from GB, then re-submit your question stating so.

If it's in really good shape, it's probably worth 10 cents-25 cents to a collector. otherwise, it's a penny. At least it's pure copper, but being currency, it is against the law to melt it down for the copper value.

well if you were to put in a sleeve with 49 other"coppers" might get 75 cents.
