Friends do play an important role in my life. Not only are they around to share fun and great memories, they are there to get you through the low times in our lives. Friendships should be a two way exchange, where both parties are willing to put in the effort for whatever purposes. They say that you can pick your friends but not your relations; so when you can take your pick, choose good ones!

yes friends are important....when u find quality ones....those are the ones that are not perfect beacause no one is but they are there for u even when u didn't know they needed to be u trust them and would do almost anything for them because u feel they would do the same. The important ones are the ones that bring out the best in u and vice versa....

My friends are very important. Since I got diagnosed with cancer I've noticed how some of them have changed but I have also noticed those who have brilliant qualities that are just right for cheering me up and helping me along. I think I'd be a very lonely person without my friends

Of course they are important. They are there for me if I am upset or need someone to talk to, to have a laugh with, to share problems and I am there for them. When you are young and have boyfriends it's important to keep your friends 'cos they'll still be there when the boyfriends are gone.

My best Freinds are very important to me. Talking to them is like talking to myself in the mirror. It is very important to talk to someone you trust and have their opinion about anything in your life without being shy. I think people who do not have Freinds are the ones who go for counsling.

No..My advice is to keep all friends at an arms length ,... these days - trust no-one ..Think of yourself - because - the friend will always move on, and when push comes to shove - they wont hesitate to knife you in the back.. Learn to be strong & Independant and be able to survive without needing to rely on anyone.

In my experience NO. The reason is that friends, like family and people, in general, will eventually let you down one way or another, they will abuse your trust and loyalty! FACT!
It is better to be a loner than rely on 'friends'. After all your not going to let yourself down now are you?
No Expectations = No Disappointments

yeah, friends are important! unless you're the "the world doesn't care, i don't wanna live, curse the happy people and happiness surrounding me" type, they must suck. but i only stick to two or three best friends at a time... too many makes it too confusing with all the backstabbing and arguements.
