My bro just got himself a HP laptop with same configuration and three years warranty. he is all satisfied with it.
If going for much cheaper, check out Acer.
I am satisfied with my 16 months old Acer travelmate 4601 Pentium M 730 1.6Ghz 60Gb HDD, 1Gb DDR2 RAM, 8X Double Layer (8.5 GB) DVD +RW/ +R Writer, bluetooth, infrared, 801.11b/g wireless LAN, ATI radeon X700 card.
