How come women claim to be smarter than men?

Men have dominated women for thousands of years. By accident? Why has it taken them 6000 years plus to get a taste of what it's like to be a man. Maybe they're just weak. Maybe it's because of how naieve women are, all you have to do is say you love them and they'll do anything. The majority of famous women just did something a man already did years before. Women are great though, as long as they are hot and fertle.

Actually, women use more of their brain then men do. In gestation, the fetus' brain is washed with testosterone, if it's going to be a boy, which shrinks one side of the brain. This is the reason why women are more emotional and more intuitive. See, it's not that women are smarter, it's that the sexes use different parts of the brain and if a man and woman come together using their parts it makes a whole, which always works better. Problem is that there is the battle of wills that prevents the sexes from working together as a whole.

actually, women usually have better grades in schools, men score higher on IQ tests, but they also score lower, while men are at both extremes, women usually rank in the middle, women show better judgment skills, men tend to be more factual and less emotional. also, men are more prominent in the sciences and mathematics. women score higher in english and language skills, and the arts. but this could be because many men or women prefer those respective fields. im sure this is too many big words for you to understand, basically, it means that most men and women are "smart" at different things. i could easily disprove everything you just said, and i promise ill keep this simple for you easily amused mind to understand:
1. not all societies in history had dominant men, several sucessful cultures were matriachies (ruled by women)
2. more women then men have used sexual intercourse to manipulate power, that means that women are the ones who make guys do anything, with sex.
3. if a woman had done something that a man already had done, why would she even be recognised for it? many famous women who have invented or discovered something didnt make it to copy men, they made them to compiment other inventions(ex. a woman invented winshield wipers for the car)and many inventions/discoveries were entirley original

Maharet said it correctly in my opinion. As an adult male, 33, single parent, and raising my 7 year old son... I've noticed quite a bit in public elementary schools. This might seem a little "off subject", however, allow me to explain.

Most elementary schools adopt corriculum based on moderate to highly moderate reading skills, and at a very FAST PACE! From articulation of passage, to word pronounciation. Ladies and gents? It is obvious that even young girls have expediant developement in reading. Boys don't - simply put. Yes, this adopted corriculum favors females over males by far. Because corriculum enduce same reading skills for both genders. Which is obviously missproportioned and unfair to our young boys. All studies proven boys are falling behind 1.5 years in schooling simply due to this adopted corriculum. Yet, nothing is being done about it - yes, nothing. Our U.S. Government lacks research studies for boys or men in general and abroad. This is a shame. The political standpoint is evident to say that - simply, males in our society are being left behind. Perhaps most of such indoctorination stems from gender feminism? Its provenly so.

Upon observation, boys are much more hands-on(actively involved), very observant, and highly articulate. Boys love to "DO things creative". Girls like to be more "figuratively creative", use of their hands in arts and crafts, and are deep thinkers & expressive. By no means would I say that girls don't learn as boys do. I see MANY girls rough-play, throw the ball, wrestle, etc, etc... as boys do. Although there are girls who simply don't. However, mix up a gym class full of both gendered children... You will witness both boys and girls have rip-roaring FUN!

Why isn't a corriculum based on the child... Instead one gender is completely beyond me. However, our young boys are set up to fail. While young girls flourish. Again, this is direct result of gender feminism. Where boys aren't being allowed to be..... Boys. While it is established for girls to be empowered. Whats wrong with this picture? Should be obvious. They're now saying, "its a proven fact that girls mature faster than boys". In only a few circumstances is that true. If we are to give boys and girls a healthy dose of MATH or SCIENCE... Boys WILL do good. Boys will also be concentrating MORE on what they LIKE, and PROGRESS IN.

As boys and girls all play, have fun... fight and be kids... Wouldn't it be fair to strengthen the areas inwhich each gender progresses in? Instead of setting up one gender to flourish, while the other has unreasonable punishment due to their gender??????????

As a woman you may think that i would give a biased answer to this question. However - it has been scientifically proven that men are smarter (on average) than women!

A woman is NOT a sex object andwe are just realising that. Woman can pick and choose who she eventually marry wheras centuries ago it was the man who made all the running, who is it that gives birth to babies? who is it that rears them to be acceptable adults? and who is it that returns to help support her family once the children are at school then has to come home to cook and clean? I rest my case.
