Hi, IF i want to do comp. games professionally, what language is preferred to do that now or in near future?

Most of the games these days are done in C/C++. Assembly language may be helpful too but I suspect that is going by the wayside.

Playstation games and most windows games are done in C or C++ though. There is some emergence with Java, particularly web-based games, which is easy to get into if you know C/C++.
