Your local floorcovering specialist will be able to get you a bag of ( what looks like cement), but it is actually a floor leveller.
When mixed with water to the right consistency,it flows over the uneven surface, and finds it's own level, and you will find that when it dries, your surface is nice and flat. Re:- shower base, you will probably have to retile over this mix.
