A laddle is a serving utensils use in the food service industry and everyday cooking for some people. It comes in different sizes but the form is the same. A large spoon that is deepen in the middle and curved to have spouts on each side. You have come across a laddle, for example, Thanksgiving gravy is either poured out through a gravy pitcher (boat) or served in the bowl and use a laddle to dip it out. Punch bowl at a school dance, what you use to place the punch into your cup is a laddle. Final example, Campell's soup commerical to serve the children coming from out the snowy winter cold.
