advantages
1.Can be sent to any part of the world
2.Does not uses any electronic means so is cheaper
3.Can contain detaIed information like figures
disadvantages
1.it takes quite time to recive a mail
2.There is a risk of letter bieng lost
3.Difficult to store as it might be destroyed
4.Inconvenient if an urgent message has to be delivered

letters have tremendous literary values and letters today bear testimonials to history.
however, the one disadvantage that i cud think of is the difficulty to store them. in today's world of e-mails and computers, its really difficult to preserve and store letters and they get destroyed in due course.

well a person feel excited if he got a letter from anyone (its like a preveladge) dis adv very late mostly after bithdays ..occasions ,,,,its a hard copy so u can also read it when electricity is out .. bad thing its more expensive
