My daughter (off sick from school) is laughing at my Black Books dvd with Daniel Moran and Bill Bailey. I love Father Ted, Flying High, Only Fools and Horses. Which have I missed?

I loved Father Ted too. Vicar of Dibley has great atmosphere I love all the characters in that. Fawlty Towers you can watch again and again and still find it funny, Absolutely Fabulous was good and The Young Ones. Now I am older I have been watching repeats of the Two Ronnies and can appreciate them more now than I did. I can also remember Please Sir, Bless This House, George and Mildred, The Liver Birds, Bread, Keeping Up Appearances....you've got me thinking now!

Bottom with Rik Mayall! That always made me laugh! Also, One foot in the Grave and Birds of a Feather! UK comedy is by the far the best! Don't forget My Family! Thats a cracker!!

Agree with everything you said, also what about the Two Ronnies - I can watch them again and again and AGAIN......And Allo, Allo! - loved that!!! Also, the Office, even though it hasn't really passed the test of time, is absolutely brilliant. So was Extras really. Can't really think of anything else offhand but the bottom line is UK comedy is tops!!!( American comedy is pants - well except for the Simpsons)

Only Fools and Horses was just great. I do think that currently Peter Kay is one of the funniest. Phoenix Nights was superb!

im in australia, and i grew up watching british comedy (that was all they had on telly where i lived). i loved the goodies, open all hours, to the manor born, some mothers do ave em, r u being served, allo allo, the 2 ronnies, the one with hyacinth bucket. now i love the office, extras, little brittan, league of gentlemen. ur comedy is far far superior to american - if i cant watch aussie shows, id pick urs anyday.
cant play cricket - but **** ur funny!

Only Fools and Horses is classic. The Vicar of Dibley is also very good.
