I am from Australia and just curious to hear what you guys think of aussies and some of the sterotypes i hear about us. Tell me what you think of Down under. I won't get offended.

I'm a Brit and I hold the following stereotypes --
You have a lot of BBQ's
You're all called Bruce or Sheila
There are spiders & koalas everywhere
You're very laid back, obsessed with rugby and cricket
That you hate the English
That Peter Andre and Kylie are lurking on every street corner
You say G'day and Strewth a lot
Finally ... that it's pretty much just like 'Neighbours' (Coz everybody needs good neighbours)

OMG I love Australian accents! They are so sexy! And of course, when I hear Australia I think of kangaroos lol. And tanned men. Ooh, and I think of Thunder From Down Under which is a popular male review show in Las Vegas, Nevada, similar to chippendales. I have no negative thoughts whatsoever about australians, the stereotype is that you are mellow and relaxed and care-free pretty much. I love it.

Well the only real Aussie that I think was truly wonderful was Steve Irwin. He also has a great family and he loved them very much. If all Aussies are anything like Steve was, then they should have no problems. But then again, you have the likes of Russell Crowe, who has gotten himself into trouble in the US.

Guys are crazy, and fun to party with, wild.
Women are beautiful and the accent is extremely sexy to American men.
Australia and America have a lot in common as far as our histories. We have a lort of respect for Austrailia. I want to go there someday.

Why you consider Cricket a sport I will never know, but I could also say the same of the English. Australians would be OK if they didn't brag about themselves so much.

Love the natural tongue.... I have no preconceived notion about people because of their nationality..... i think it is great that God created people with all kinds of languages and tongues, heights and widths....... mentality is the key for me.....
