If you mean 12 times what you get an hour, then yes I would, that would mean I'd be on £100 an hour, 10 hours £1000. Fantastic.

If u mean that 12 times per hour, then yes. Used to work every X-mas evening, so wont have problem for that kind of money.

I am working Xmas Day this year and not for 12 times - just standard rate of pay - even though I expect to spend most of the day drinking.

Some things in life are priceless so no i wouldn't offer my happy Christmas day with my family and friends for some money. Besides as i grow older there are these moments worth remembering. But it also depends on the person's state. I mean that if someone is very poor and in order to feed his/her family needed that money then i wouldn't judge him/her.

I worked on Christmas Day for 2x what I usually got, but I was a radio announcer. The world doesn't stop just because its Christmas - doctors, nurses, and cops all have to work on Christmas, along with air traffic controllers, snow plow operators, etc.

If it pays double, yes... but it totally depends on the hours, and how much your already making.
My job allowed us to work thanksgiving day on a volunteer basis only, and we got paid double time plus 8hr holiday pay. my regular hourly wage made it very worth it.
