I post an online auction on ebay recently and this women ask me to sent the item to Nigeria through fedex and said that she will pay me through paypal. Although paypal have already confirm the payment, but the payment will only proceed to my paypal account after the user verified the payment. I am afraid that she might cancel the payment after I have sent the item, so should I send or not?

Nigeria seems to be the center of a ton of internet scams and fraud. I would only ship it if you have cash up front.

Definitely not. Wait for the money to be posted in your account BEFORE shipping anything. Let her know that Paypal is still clearing her item and you will send it only once the payment has been cleared.
Clearly state in your shipping policy in your auction listing that item will be shipped only after payment (whether check or whatever) has cleared. I have made that mistake early in my eBay selling when the check paid to me bounced and I already sent the item - so I lost the item and the payment as the buyer never communicated with me again

You could test the person by saying you sent it and see if they post the payment, but if I were you, I'd have them confirm it first, if they refuse, don't sell it to them. Had friends get severely ripped off on ebay/paypal. There are people who are professional scammers on there.

when you have the money in your account and 7-10 days pass by to make sure it's not fraud, then send it. Or tell her no PayPal only cash and tell her to send you $USD in cash, when you have the money, go ahead and ship it

Don't send it. Check w/ e-bay and all the scams coming out of Africa and mid east.
