usa troops r kiling ,invading, raping, torturing & terrorising innocent ppl in Iraq& Afganistan, all these crimes is considered TERRORISM against Muslims ,and now Americans r deporting Muslims from us planes just cause they prayed & asked for seatbelt extenders and without violating any laws or regulations!!!
Now ,there is 1000s of americans fly everyday on Muslim & Arabic airlines for business or tourist reasons, and 1000s of american pilots work in Muslim airlines,
So ,is it right for Muslims to deport any american from their planes & fire all pilots from their airline companies without doing anything wrong and just cause they r americans & maybe they will try to RAPE any girls on board cause thats what americans did in Iraq!!!(remember, Muslims have a bad experience with americans too)
How can u be considered guilty just cause somone from ur religion or nationality did something wrong???
Will u consider that DISCRIMINATION & RACISM?
Plz no patriotic answers, just logical answers

I believe the word you're looking for is deboarding (making them leave an airplane), not deporting (kicking them out of a country)...

However, I understand what you mean. I'd be very insulted, just as those Imams were. For crying out loud, they were Muslim holy men, a I heard they weren't even on the plane yet when some yay-hoo decided to report them because he doesn't understand other cultures at all.

Muslims are, for the most part, probably the most religious people on the planet, due to their "stop what you're doing and pray" mindset, along with a lot of them being able to recite the Quran word for word.

I'm not Muslim, but I was really angry and really sad at the same time when this happened a couple weeks ago. I thought we could, as a nation, get past this racism. Turns out, we can't.

I thoroughly enjoy your statement, especially since I am from CANADA. "pls no patriotic answers" is one that goes to the heart of most of the problem in the US, which I believe is ignorance of other countries' customs and ideologies.
Many americans don't even know all of their own STATES never mind where Iraq is...or what a muslim truly stands for.....or what the US has done overseas; which is to plunder once again.
Many years ago, the Arabs had to sit outside an office and wait for extended periods of time, hours and sometimes DAYS just to meet with an American or a Brit white man to ask for "permission" to do something...since the Americans and the Brits ran the countries....now that they have their own independence and the Americans and Brits want back the control, the Arabs are making you wait, just like they had to...so....create a war....tell the public there are weapons of mass destruction...put up a kangaroo court....wouldn't you hide in a hold if the most powerful country in the world was looking for you?
It is not right for ANYone to be removed from any aircraft just because of skin colour or religious conviction. What would happen if all the Jews in the US were made to sit at the back of the bus, just like it used to be for black people?...there would be a hell of an outcry and civil strife within the US, that's what....
But, as usual, the ignorant and the strong are up pounding on a podium scaring the heck out of the public over something that is perverted by the press, and perverted by rumour and unnuendo.
Sort things out in the middle east?....good LUCK...especially when you're not trusted...
I seem to remember having read somewhere "let not the sins of the father be upon the child"...gee...was that in the Bible?
Could that be a statement against discrimination and racism?

First of all you are assuming that America is at war with Islam. This is not the case. America is at war with nations and groups who promote terrorism against America. Some of the things that American troops have done is not condoned or taken lightly by Americans and they are punished for those acts. Where the nations and gropups that America are fighting treat the perveyors of terroristic atttacks and unspeakable violent acts as heroes. American pilots have not flown their planes into buildings nor have average American citizens taken up arms against a religion. You would find that Americans do not discriminate as much as you see on the news. I had a man of middle eastern descent put new tires on my jeep today and I shook his hand and thanked him. We need to take a really good hard look at what we are accusing one another of. Americans are not treated well anywhere in the world.

You must put yourself in the place of those passengers who remembered 9/11 and had little time to make a fair determination regarding those Muslims who were boarding with them.If they made the wrong choice, they might all die.
They made a bad mistake , but surly all Muslims can understand the panic that has been created by a few other Muslims.
FLYBOSS11---I'll bet you would not be so cool-headed if 9/11 happened in Canada.
Canadians were friendly when we were protecting them from communists.--Now they try to act morally superior, to cover up their cowardice in helping us.--Could it be they're afraid of becoming a target for terrorists?

Idiot!! Logic would dictate that all persons who practice Islam should by banned from air flight after the hijacking and subsequent use of the planes as missiles by radical Islamists.
Logic would dictate that the complete annihilation of the religion would be the best course. That is logic.

What you keep posting is garbage. You started a war you are damn lucky that the American people don't have your mentality or the whole of Islam would be gone.

Sorry, I cannot separate myself from my patriotism enough to answer.

In after-thought, I think an airline should make the call, either way. It is the safety of their passengers, foremost on their minds.

If the deportation is without valid reason, then it is racism.
