Prepare yourself for exhaustion and late nights!! However, depending on the course you do-intensive or part-time-you can adjust your life accordingly. Don't let this warning put you off- I did the course nearly three years ago alongside a part time job and having three of my five children still at home. I really enjoyed the input sessions, fretted over(but passed) all the observed teaching and came out with a B pass. It was worth all the hard work. I finally got a job in this country but there are far more opportunities in Spain, which is where I intend to go when my youngest goes to Uni, as I have a brother in Madrid who teaches in the British Council.
