the gravitational force of the sun pulls every planet towards it including earth then why doesn't the planets bang with the sun but keeps on revolving around the sun at a distance

There are a lot of different forces at work here, but momentum (or inertia, whatever you want to call it) plays the biggest role. The Earth is moving at a very high speed in one direction (not directly away from or towards the sun), and gravity is pulling it in another direction (towards the sun). The effect that you get is a sort of balance of forces. The Earth isn't moving fast enough to completely escape the gravitational pull of the sun (escape velocity = minimum speed required to "indefinitely" move away from source of gravity), but the gravitational pull of the sun isn't strong enough to completely pull the Earth into it. The result is that the Earth doesn't float off into space, but continues to move in a circle around the sun (it also makes the Earth spin). If the Earth were to move slower or faster, it would circle the sun at a closer distance or further distance respectively, but since there isn't a lot of matter in space to slow the Earth down (be it friction or collision), the Earth maintains a pretty constant speed.

There are two forces namly Centrifugal force & Centripetel force.
Centripetel force is the Force which atttracts body towards the center of an Object. And in Centrifugal force, it throws away from the Center.
Due to same ratio of both these forces on sun which are acting on Earth,Earth rotates around the Sun .

i'm a physics pupil, so i am going to handle this :P. the solar somewhat does influence the oceans, by way of the undeniable fact that is so vast. yet, by way of the undeniable fact that is farther away it has a lot less of an influence. also, the mass of any merchandise is irrelevant in area. no remember the position you bypass in area, as an social gathering, the Earth will nonetheless be pulling on you. This replaced into got here across with techniques from Newton, and he created the regulation of wide-spread Gravitation (even though it truly is yet another tale). So truly, this is honest to assert that planets and stars we now have not all started to discover have some pull on our oceans. to positioned this into attitude, i am going to grant you yet another cool physics truth. in case you drop a pencil off your table, the Earth will actually boost up in the route of it, yet by way of truly small mass of the pencil, the acceleration of the Earth is negligible. If a pencil can bypass the Earth, the solar can bypass the water.

sun is exerting force on earth and other planets and just like that earth is also exerting force on sun but it is very small as the force of sun is centripetal force and its magnitude is very large thats why earth is revolving around the sun if you say why earth does'nt fall into sun the reason is that both sun is attracting and the other planets are repelling it

according to universal gravitational law there is a force of attaction between any two bodies in this universe including between you & ur comp. but this can not be felt bcoz ur mass is very less(infact negligible....come on ,compared 2 our planets & all those people up there in the space).
basically this law as quoted by newton states that there is a force of attraction between any two bodies in this universe and it is directly proportional to the product of the masses of the two bodies and inversely proprotional to the squqre of the distance between them.
if this law is applied to our earth & the sun,the product of their masses is very large but bcoz of the large distance between them most of it gets nullified and only a small part of it remains which is also a very large magnitude.and it is this remaining force that makes the earth revolve around the sun but it isn't stong enough to to have a bang.

as u know all the matter in the universe attract each other due to gravitational force
thus earth is not only facing gravitational pull from sun but all other heavenly bodies also
after an ultimate combination of these pulls to each other earth is existing in its position that we know

in addition, factors like rotation of the earth on its own axis - speed of earth on its orbite, mass of the earth are other factors which are related to this combination.

Think it will help you

Because the orbit of the earth is trying to throw it away from the sun. The two are in balance

because the earth is moving at a constant speed and the sun is pulling us we will stay in a orbit as long as earth is spinning

this is the simple one but first we need to know when the body get in revolving and rotating on its own axes.
the first basic thing is in the universe many number of stars are available pertaining some distance between them so when the body comes under the influence of two attractions the body gets on rotating and simultaneously it happs revolution as it self possess its own strength of attraction, if it does not have its field the nit will not get revolve but rotates
