McDonalds uses 100% real white meat from the breast of the chicken. The figures that come up as bellow 100% is because they spray water on it to cook it and there is some water between the strands of chicken meat when you eat it. So yes it is real chicken with some water in it. It is about 90% chicken and 10% water.

When the chickens get old and they can't lay eggs no more for your mcmuffins they get ground up and pressed into chicken nuggets, anything tastes good battered and deepfried.

They use real breast meat. Unfortunately they cook it in oil and add too many unnecessary calories.
