Does anyone know the date in which the harry potter book 7 will be officially named ?

JK hasn't finished the book yet, although she recently said: "I currently have my head down writing the final book, which is coming along nicely."
She has three names to choose from, but it will be quite random - as usual - I suppose.
I heard tell of a couple of titles - both pretty unbelievable... These were: Harry Potter and the Chariots of Light and Harry Potter and the Fortress of Shadows. The first title was registered as a trademark in the UK by AOL Time Warner as the possible title of the seventh book and its movie adaptation.
Also heard of Harry Potter and the Green Flame Torch..
JK MIGHT write about Harry Potter after Book 7, cos she told the BBC: "I'm not going to say I'll never write anything to do with the world of Hogwarts ever again.
"Because I have often thought that (if I wrote) Book 8, I think it would be right and proper that it should be a book whose royalties go to charity entirely."

The date for the book is suppose to be July 7th. But the official name has not been released yet. I don't think she is finished with it. Try keeping up with all of the rumors on www.jkrowling.com her official site. That might help, and just in case you are wondering when the 5th movie is coming out it is July 13.

jo hasn't decided yet. her website says she's got 3 in mind and that the 3rd is "currently ahead by a short nose, or perhaps that should be a vowel and two consonants."
