Some say that there are only seven plot lines that exist!

Tragedies are those where the hero is given a choice and decides not to take it.

The key when reading or writing a play is knowing "who's play is it?" and the answer is always who is asked to change.

A quick popular movie list to illustrate:
Richard Gere has to change in Pretty Woman.
Tom Hanks has to change in You've Got Mail.
John Cusak has to change in High Fidelity.


In these, the counter-part is usually unwaivering no matter how annoying!

Romantically -Titanic...(but see to it ocean is not too deep)
Thriller- Deja Vu ( not seen yet but ausumn promos)
Suspense- The ring (Man can't understand the movie...a big suspense even after the 2 parts)
Comic-Bruce almighty ( Dying to get powers.........)
Drama - Bush administration ..( Man when he was born to make americans sick)
Women-Charlies angels ..(Good ..not movie DUDE....lol)
Man-Brokeback mountain...(Man i hate movie)
Pls don't get annoyed...It's just i don't see plays but given a chance(u asked) i would get these stories on stage.
