Damien Martyn is a good one day player and yea in that format he is a match winner.
Test cricket, sorry. Australia need to look at someone else. He has been constantly failing in test matches.

Damien Martyn is a proven match winner for Australia in the One Day arena. He is a great fieldsman and graceful batsman who plays classical offside cuts and drives.
Unfortunately his form of late hasn't been too good in Test matches and England seem to have his measure every time he steps out. Martyn's place in the Australian test team looks to be in jeopardy with the resurgence of Michael Clarke.

Martyn is not a perfect match-winner but he is a good contributor to Australia's winning effort on an average.

He is better in the one day version of the game.I personally believe he will be dropped for the Perth Test and you will see some minor changes in the batting order.Hussey will move up and Shane Watson will come in at number 6.Martyn will return to the side for the onedayers.

Martyn *can* be a match winner, but he is out of form and IMO past his used by date...
In the test arena anyway, ODI's are a different story

No, as he is not consistent. Perfect match winner for Australia at present in Ricky Ponting.
