I just recently moved to a new area. I have a ton of friends from my old town, but I am having trouble making friends here. I am not in university, and have a very strange, dramatic situation with my family. I'm finding it hard to relate to people or have time to make new friends because I am so caught up in my family situation. What can I do to overcome this?

If you have time, you may join some course - language or sport, something that you like and where you can meet people with the same interests as yours.

okay just be yourself, if you had a lot of friends before, then they must've liked you for some reason, right? so some people in your new town might be similar to your old friends. be nice and outgoing, dont be shy!
