Many men think women are favored in the work place now. We are feared. It seems some women abuse the harassment laws. The laws definately protect us, but this fear also hurts us.

I've lost job opportunities over this. I am an artist who works on construction sites sometimes. Some bosses don't trust their guys.

Any suggestions on how to make changes?

I know exactly how you feel! I too have lost job opportunities for the same reason. But...it is discrimination of gender; if you are not hired and that was the reason given and you could report these jobs/employers of this. Also, if you dress down and maybe wear baggy tops or even mens clothing, like some Dickie's and work boots and a hard hat, it may help. I know that some guys will still gawk no matter what you wear. Sometimes I wonder if these men ever get laid! Anyway, the sexual harassment thing is so over done by these self righteous bitches that think every man wants her... And then there are the pervs who really do deserve to get slugged instead of a lawsuit.

There are always people who abuse the law or abuse one's confidence or integrity. People lie, murder, steal etc. So? so some women abuse the harassment laws but the majority of women suffer from abuse and harassment both at home and at work. Many women have to leave a good job or suffer terrible sexual insults and other sexual advancements, others stay on the workplace because they are signle-moms or in economic problems or its a great job, so they stay and fight daily the men who know their wekness. We do not need to attakc the women who abuse the law we need to find ways to protect women from harassment and both physical and oral abuse. If you do not get a job because you are a woman you can always take the workplace to court. This law was made in order to protect women from years of harassment and I do hope it does assits many of them.

I don't know about changes (because this is an individual thing) (how one perceives sexual harassment) but as for you, don't let it discourage you.
