Do you honestly think your noisy neighbour was selective about the genre of music? I think the music was there to muff out the obscene sounds coming from the neighbour's bedroom, that's all.

Gosh, I know!!! I live in an apartment and I live upstairs...the single lady below us always blasts rap music when she has guys over, it's really annoying! And it always seems to be when I'm sick, or trying to sleep, or some other time that's really annoying. Her stereo is right under our bedroom too!

LOL... probably b/c we're all so different, yet have absolutely no control over who our neighbors are OR what they choose to blast late-nights on their stereos :) Don't ya just LOVE neighbors?!?!?!?! :)
You can always call the police on them and say that they're riff-raff breaking a noise ordinance or something :) LOL.... but that might not be the best for your neighborly relationship though! :)
