Have you ever heard the statement grow up, or you need to change? How did those statements affect you, if at all? For myself I am young for my age and admit it. The "you need to" change comment I believe is for each individual to decide, not another....unless it's said out of love and concern over destructive behavior. What's your answer to the person who says this ??

Evert time i heard those words I liked myself a little bit less. This probably slowed me down in the emotional development areas of growth. Now if someone were to tell me the same thing i would not be hurt because the truth is we all do need to change in order to live Happy lives, but I would be glad I found out what an ignorant person I was speaking with before they said something hurtful and inconsiderate to a child of mine.

Well, I am a rebel by nature so if anyone tells me directly to change or grow up, I just feel like they can go jump, go fly a kite, or go to hell and I'll continue in my own crazy, childlike way. No one absolutely, no one can tell me what to do. I don't mind advice, suggestions, but orders, no way. Also, I am quite attached to my character, my personality. There is only one ME.

Also, I may start singing Frank Sinatra's My Way.

i will flare up initially. but after cooling down, I will think about what the person has said. If what he said has some truth in it, i will do some reflection and perhaps change. But if I dont agree with what the person says, just forget about it!

the element that looks to rune as a topic with the help of your 'fact / rationalization is the 'i opt for, i opt for' ~ the position it is all about YOU. It, this, isn't my complaining about you or seeing you in a unfavourable mild, yet retaining how others might want to work out you and sense alarm bells ringing because you're trying ~ each of the time to be what you aren't to any extent further. and that i visit work out and keep in mind that this can be a seize 22 difficulty for you. My initial wondering is, 'if you're planning on going to college (that is stressful in itself) at the same time as wearing this a lot burden with you, then you definately are searching for some very HEAVY problems. And, i'd do my damnedest to get ''specialist'' help from a counsellor for this ~ mess you're in. human beings do not unavoidably 'understand the thanks to gown or to act' ~ some might want to consider it, yet you look to have the impact that it is like planning a protection rigidity marketing campaign! ok, convinced, for some it perhaps is like that ....or perhaps if effective they could be seen to be on your eyes, that would want to no longer be how they see themselves. yet then, my wondering is 'how shallow' some human beings might want to be in the experience that they ought to spend that a lot time on such triviality! i visit no longer help yet ask your self ~ in case you've been thee maximum common female, in case you had thousands of modern-day, dozens of celebration invites etc, what might want to then you definately 'carve your self with problem up about'? in case you achived all of that, what might want to you do with all of it? finally end up specialist help ....and faster quite than later. reliable luck. Sash.

I dismiss it because most people have false concepts of what growth is. Often, when people think they're growing up, they're really just growing down or becoming worse people.
