I'm waiting for a perfect flower, waiting for my finest hour... in my secret garden.... I still believe after all, I still believe. I wonder when I'll start to show. I wonder if I'll ever know. Where my place is. Where my face is. I know it's in here somewhere.
And If I wait for the rain to kiss me and undress me, will I look like a fool, wet and a mess? Will I still be thirsty? Will I pass the test? And if I look for the rainbow, will I see it or will it pass right by? 'Cause I'm not supposed to see. 'Cause the blind are never free.... Even at my secret garden, there's a chance that I could harden, that's why I'll keep on looking for.

I still believe, I do still believe. 'Cause after all is said and done, I'm still alive and the boots have come and trampled on me and I'm still alive. 'Cause the sun has kissed me, and caressed me. And I'm strong, and there's a chance that I will grow, this I know...
So I'm still looking for...... me
.

Life is not a spectator sport,I found God in the unconditional love within my heart and now play the game of life with God as my coach. As i take the small training opportunities (the plays) he gives, and do my very best, then he gives me more and more opportunities to play bigger roles in this game of life.I no longer wait, when God imparts that ever so gentle will to act, Small or large act, I do my best to do it,leaving the fruits of action to God.

Nothing any more. Everything I waited for in life came to me. I went through a lot of hard times to get where I am but God has blessed me and now I can sit back and enjoy my life. It pays to trust in Him.

Wonderful question ..... set me really thinking! After thinking through, I came to the following conclusion.

It would be foolish to wait for anything in life. Because life does not wait for anything, it just keeps moving on. We need to keep pace with it and learn to make the best of what it offers rather than wait for something better to happen. Life gives us precious little time, we can not afford to waste in waiting. Rather than wait for anything special, we should work for it.

Nice question, makes one think doesn't it.
I'm waiting for the person I like to choose me too. (I do not want to force his decision).
Other than that, I'm mostly working towards what I want to achieve in life. There are many things in life that we need to work towards, but there are also things we simply need to wait for them to come.

I've been waiting for a good question. This is certainly one of them. I'd say that when younger, I was waiting to meet my perfect soulmate- and to amass great monetary fortune. As I age, I find that ideas and concepts far outweigh people and money. Now, I'd like to believe that I'm waitning for opportunity to do good, help people and grow spiritually.
I've heard it said...

"Its not the years of your life- but the life in your years."

“You can sit around and wait for the good things to happen to you, you can go out and make them happen.”

“You've spent your whole life running and running, trying to catch up with something that has never been there for you. And all you've done is go farther and farther away from the precious love that's been waiting for you all the time.”

“The individual must not merely wait and criticize, he must defend the cause the best he can. The fate of the world will be such as the world deserves.”

“The universe is full of magical things, patiently waiting for our wits to grow sharper.”

“The person who is waiting for something to turn up might start with their shirt sleeves.”

“This is as true in everyday life as it is in battle: we are given one life and the decision is ours whether to wait for circumstances to make up our mind, or whether to act, and in acting, to live.”

“The man who goes alone can start today; but he who travels with another must wait till that other is ready.”

Teach us, O Lord, the disciplines of patience, for to wait is often harder than to work.”

“Between the wish and the thing life lies waiting.”

“I shall tell you a great secret my friend. Do not wait for the last judgement, it takes place every day.”

“To him that waits all things reveal themselves, provided that he has the courage not to deny, in the darkness, what he has seen in the light.”

“Friends are those rare people who ask how we are and then wait to hear the answer.”

“Make people wait for what they want, and you have power over them.”

“Lonely men seek companionship. Lonely women sit at home and wait. They never meet.”
