You forget that many Hindus players have faced not so nice display by their fans. Its not a good thing to display frustation at any of the player's house. But Gavaskar faced similer things in calcutta and if you remember he did refuse to play their afterwards. Shastri, Prabhakar many others have faced these things.
But you are wrong for turning it into a Hindu Muslim thing. Thats your bias seeping through your question.
I do not support such idiotic acts. But I wonder why when getting praise players forget that they got it dispite being Muslims but as soon as they get some negatives which comes along with being celebrity (Mind that , its not because of religion) they suddenly remember they are Muslims!!!
Azahruddeen was captain for years .The day he was caught in match fixing case he declared its because of his being Muslim. Never mind that Jadeja who was charged along with him was not.
Salman Khan has a tendency to get himself in trouble after trouble. But clever enough to get a round cap on his head when going to court !!! That Nadeem of famous Nadeem Shravan pair played the same card so that he can skip the court case in Gulshan Kumar's murder. Saying its because he is a Muslim!!!
Whats up with that? Why do you people give communal angel to everything when there is nothing as such?
How are you so sure that it was a Hindu mob which attacked Zaheer?
Did you identified them all?
Cannt it be a mixed group of misguided fans?
Its really a shame that Indians enjoy much freedom of speach and practice of their faith in India still they really dont realise what they have.

I think this is not at all true! I think the same / similar things happened to Shastri, Srikanth, Prabhakar -all of whom were Hindu's. I think it has less to do with Hindu/Muslim and more to do with the HUGE expectations people have of them. Remember, a player in India represent a city/district/state/zone and not some community. I think Azhar had as more Hindu than Muslim fans in his haydays ...

The question shd not be allowed.you are unnecesarily bringing religion into politics. What did the families do wrong if a player doent perform.Sachin/dravid/ganguly all had problems when they were playing the last world cup.Cant understand .it is as if u r being punished because your son didn't do his homework in school.
I would request such biases questions should not be allowed.

I dont agree vandalising any players home for the poor performance of the player. It is not at all in good spirit as it
does not solve the basic problem.

FYI. This has been done with Ravi Shastri, Srikant earlier.
These happens with not so-famous players. Infact nothing was done with Pathan coz he is loved by many for his earlier performance.
