My nokia 6600 mobile has been infected by a viruse called matrix comwarrior can u plz tell me which Anti virus software is to be use to remove it... that virus is very strong, i used somany Anti virus but no use... plz send the web link if possible... Thanks..

Your description is not very precise, but it suggests that you have the CommWarrior.Q virus (see the link below for removal instructions and for a more precise description). If this is the case, the removal instructions given by the previous answerer will *not* work for you - they are for the early CommWarrior variants.

Variant .Q is much more tenacious - it infects memory cards, SIS files, prevents its process from being terminated and so on. So, please follow the removal instructions given on the page pointed by the link below.

you can manually remove the virus.

Follow these steps to remove Commwarrior manually:
1. A file manager program must be installed on your phone (usally you will find it at your menu under the Tools > Filemanager or i recommend selecq file manager).


2. You have to enable the option that alows you to view the files in the system directory.

3. Use your file manager to delete files described here.

Go to the directory c:system\apps\commwarrior
and delete these files there:
c:\system\apps\commwarrior\commwarrior.exe
c:\system\apps\commwarrior\commrec.mdl

then go to the directory c:\system\updates
and delete these files there:
c:\system\updates\commrec.mdl
c:\system\updates\commw.sis
c:\system\updates\commwarrior.exe

then go to the directory c:\system\recogs
and delete this file there:
c:\system\recogs\commrec.mdl
