In my opinion, you just have to make up your mind that you are going to stick to what you have to do. It's a power each one of us have we just don't exercise it enough. If you are talking about studying then find a quiet place in a bright room and study in a uncluttered place. If your space is messy then it affects your thinking. Many things affect our concentration. If you have a project due in 2 weeks and you wait until the last minute then you must make an appoint as soon as you get your assignment you start on it right away, doing the research and start writing so you are not pushed at the last minute. I know you can do it! Whatever it takes you have the power within you to improve your life. Best wishes, Hugs Mama Jazzy Geri

You should always try to maintain focus on the task at hand, whether it is college studies, work etc. It is very hard to do this when you are burdened with personal problems (in my case, problems with the nasty next-door neighbor), but you should still try your best. Exercise is a great way to alleviate stress, and also talking to your close friends and family members also helps you maintain a sense of normalcy in your everyday life.

Accept distraction as part of life. If your attention is distrated at least your mind is in focus.
