Cervical mucous is not the only sign of ovulation. The cervix also changes location and texture as you go through your cycle, and many people also chart their basal body temperature (BBT), to determine when they ovulate. There are ovulation predictor kits, that will test your urine for the hormone that causes the eggs to release.

That said, not everyone sees these signs as clearly as other people do - so not noticing "egg white" cervical mucous texture, doesn't mean that you don't actually produce it, and / or that you cannot get pregnant. Some people take Robitussin/Mucinex to increase the amount of mucous produced (I've never heard a doctor say that it works - but many women say so).

I would really not worry about not seeing discharge. If your doctor has told you to monitor your CM, let him know, but try to not stress out. If your doctor is not already doing tests (blood test / ultra sound) to determine if the medication is working, you can monitor some of your own signs. I recommend you do a little research (see my sources). It will really help you know what is going on, in between those visits to have the doctore tell you what is. :)

Best of Luck to you!
