We have 5 acres in a rural area with an average elevation over 1300ft. We are within 20 miles of a major metropolitan area and close to a junction of two major Interstates. There are no zoning restrictions in the area and the nearest airport is 8 miles away.

We have been interested in this proposition for a while now, but don't know who to approach or how, and would rather not go through a land lease broker.

Get all the data , such as topography maps, road access and then make up a packet. You will have to be your own marketer on this and mass mail them to any one you can think of. Sprint, Time Warner, Singular etc. Call around to see what the average lease is so you can be prepared for an offer. In my area,Ohio, They go for $850 a month. The best part is if you get one, sometimes other companies will put another next to it and you get double rent.
