grief comes to everyone in different ways, of course you miss your grandmother, but ask yourself did she suffer in her final days? if so she is at peace, I speak fromexpeirience, it took me 7 years to get over a series of berevements but once you have accepted your loss, you are halfway there to getting on with your life.. then you have to set goals and acheivements to keep you busy, don't be too miserable as each day of life is precious and our loved ones is only a whisper away. Good luck.

I understand it hurts and will just try to remember the good times with your grandmother mine has been gone 12 years on the 5th and I still miss her a lot especially at the holidays the 1st couple years were hard but you know what it does get better. What we did was adopt a grandma in our city they have a program where older people don't have relatives or at least grand kids and you go visit them talk maybe take a meal it is great volunteer for meals on wheels there are a lot of older people alone out there looking for a smile or a hello. It will take time but if you involve yourself in helping others trust me you will in turn help yourself. Make sure you talk with family and friends if you don't and keep it inside the pain only gets worse Bless you and sending love and prayer your way for the healing of the pain in your heart

Accept Jesus as better than your grandma. In this world, practice detaching yourself from anything , our past connection, material things. Be prepated to face a battered life.
