We're having a baby and I feel like I'm the only one who's excited. We have a good marriage and a good sex life but he just doesn't seem to care about the pregnancy. Am I being selfish for wanting him to show a little more excitment?

Have you made your husband feel very involved in this process?
Like going to the doctors just to hear the heartbeat or for the ultra sound? Is your husband an only child? Has he ever been around kids in general? Is he usually distant or quite loving? From what you've written I would choose the latter. Is this his first child?
Does he know the things that you'll being going through?

I feel you 2 need a heart to heart.

Tell him all the things you imagine, all the things you
think about, all your excited thoughts, all your worried
thoughts, all your wishes for this child, all your concerns
for this child, and mostly all your love you will have for
this child.

Ask your husband (at the end of the road, when
everything is said & done, when there's absolutely
no way of going back) how he could even like himself
if he were to miss out on one of lifes most precious
times?

Tell your husband this is time that he'll never get back...
Tell your husband he can never make it up to you..........
Tell your husband he can never make it up to himself....
Tell your husband he will never forgive himself...............
Tell your husband his attitude is not what you imagined..
Tell your husband you need him to be just as excited.....
Tell your husband all his love & help is most needed now
Tell your husband how you imagined being pregnant.......
Just Tell Your Husband, Before It's Too Late....

Good Luck,
Nicole.......

Sounds like the "deer in the headlights" look. He is probably very scared. I know I was when my wife told me we were pregnant. And I am turning out to be a good daddy.Talk to him about your feelings. Ask him to be honest with you. Being scared does not mean he does not care. He is just scared.

probably he is excited but having a lousy way to show it
may be he has concerns about the future that spoils his excitement
Be patient , day after day he will get used to the iea and be more exited with it

typical emotional question, I guess he should be falling all over you day and night.
reality, is he there at home when he is done with work?, does he take care of the hunter gatherer things?, stop whinning and watch, he will provide for you and your family, protect and yes, he will and does love you, and maybe, just maybe if you allow him, he will raise your child to be strong and self supportive and not need your daily hype and ego stroking.

OF COURSE NOT!!! Poor baby! This guy....I don't want to bum you out, but this guy is a loser. Sounds like it will only get worse. I hope I'm wrong for your's, and the baby's sake.

something happens to man when the baby is born and he sees him/her for the first time. be patient. men don't like to be all cutesy all the time and do alot of ohhhs and ahhhs... the more you push it, the more he'll resist it.
