Din Tai Feng dumpling restaurant. Seriously. It's the delicious dumpling capital of the world. My taiwanese grandmother in law, American father in law and hungry stomach all love it! But don't believe me, check out the NY Times and yahoo thoughts...

2. Fried Chicken (from street vendors or night markets)
3. Pineapple Tarts
4. Smelly beancurd(if you dare)

3. Chiang Kai Shek memorial hall
4. National Palace Museum
5. The Yangmingshan National Park
6. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall
7. The Longshan Temple
8. Shilin Night Market
9. The Ximending
10. The Guanghua Bazzar
11. The Taipei Zoo
12. The Taipei Underground Market
13. The Dihua Street

Must see things;
- Snake Alley in Taipei
-101
- Sun Moon Lake - you can get to this from Taichung, Taiwan best city
- Alishan at dawn. You have to get a bus there, and stay over night. A gong goes off in the village about an hour before dawn, from where you can walk (if you aer insane) or get a steam train to the summit to watch the sunrise
- Huelien and Taraoko gorge - truely beautiful
and finally
- Temples anywhere
- People doing Tai'chi and dancing in parks
- Kenting, right at the southern tip, for it's beaches.

Things to eat;
- chickens feet
- duck
- beef noodles
- stinky tofu if you dare
- all the drinks
- Taiwan beer

u must see 101 building in Taipei and eat a lot of night market food in all Taiwan . It's very interesting for a new comer tourist to Taiwan .

must eat - night market, spend an evening sampling great food. If you're in Taipei there are some huge night markets where you can snack on everything from beef noodles to dumplings to chocolate covered strawberries.
