It looked to have five or six barrels that rotated and spit out rounds at an incredible rate. It was used in the scene where the T-100 was holding off an entire platoon of cops.
Is this a real weapon or is it a prop man’s fantasy like a 40-watt plasma rifle?
If it is a real weapon what is it called and who manufactures such a machine of retribution?

If you are talking of the multibarreled Gun used by Arnold then it was "M134 Minigun". This sort of weapon has been in ops for a long time. You can get the details frm this link:

it was also used by Jesse Ventura in "Predator"
Its code name is "Street Sweeper" (kind of fits doesnt it).
