It looked to have five or six barrels that rotated and spit out rounds at an incredible rate. It was used in the scene where the T-100 was holding off an entire platoon of cops. Is this a real weapon or is it a prop man’s fantasy like the 40-watt plasma rifle?

If it is a real weapon what is it called and who manufactures such a machine of retribution?

Yes, I know this is not the usual question you might find in comics and animation

It was a type of Gatlin gun that was made around the time of the U.S Civil War. check this site for one model.

And at this site a modern version-

They use Gatlin guns on airplanes and mounted on vehicles. They are rapid firing and can do extensive damage but uses a lot of ammo. definitely a wicked weapon regardless of what era it is used.

The Mit-900 and other versions are Multi Barrel fully automatic machine guns. They are normally mounted on Helicopters or Hum-Vees, but can be Hand Carried and Fired.
