If cared for and you do your proper testing and water chanegs most will live for 20-30 years. There has been records of goldfish living for up to 40-45 years however! my goldfish are all now 15 years old!

Goldfish should live at least 20 years. None of this "they only live a few weeks" rubbish you hear from stupid people who can't care for them properly.

if advance care 25 to 40 years

there was one goldish in china who lived for 43 years.

normally 5 -7 years. in the guiness book of record is a gold fish mentioned which was 35 years old when it died.
