This site seems to be home to many a sexist. Men who hate women, and women who hate men. I believe in equality and all that, but I don't wanna make an argument out of it. Added to that, I think so much focus has been put on we women that men have been left to feel a bit under-appreciated.

So let me start the ball rolling toward a celebration of each other by saying this: men of the world, you're great. I appreciate you, and the world would be a sad place without you.

Amen sister! Men and women can all be a pain in the **** at one time or another. Frankly the male/female bashing thing is so boring to me. Those who carry such bitterness and resentments towards the opposite sex, best take a deeper look at themselves.
Growing up the only sister with four brothers, I for one have a great respect and adoration of men. And , as they say... "Behind every great man, there had to be a great woman."

I can see what you are saying here and I do agree that men are all too often not seen as equals to women..... eg. try being a bloke who wants custody of his children here in Australia.... there is a distinct bias against men in family courts...

Men do not get a fair deal and all too often are seen as workhorses that must go out and earn a crust to provide for the women in their lives. It is very unfair.

I agree but it goes both ways I make sure my husband feels appreciated he is ill with emphysema and can't do things he used to and feels he is not helping me enough I buy him special things just top make him smile and ask him to do things for me like rub my head when it hurts or just something little to let him know I do need him. Men have a tendency to feel inadequate and they strike out at other people or get depressed when that happens so it is important to life our men up and let them know that without them as well as without us none of us would be here

It's debatable whether men have any responsibility toward women or if women are and should be completely independent of men.

That reminds me of that song; It's raining men. Halleluja, It's raining men... by those two fat women.
