But when i view the "PPS" file on the OTHER COMPUTER... the sounds are gone? What should i do?...

Need help! tnx!

When you create a sound object in it, From Insert menu ->Movies and Sounds->Sound from File, you're actually linking to the file, it's not being embedded into the presentation, you have to make sure that the sounds are still there in the same folders like you have on your computer.
Either put them into a specific folder and take them with you, or use OLE , from Insert menu -->Object , Create from file and point to the file you want, you could be later on modifying the properties to "Activate" (run) the file when you click on it or so.

U need to check if the following :
1) Is the second computer having the same version of Microsoft PowerPoint Application ( for this go to Help -> About in Powerpoint )
2) Is the second computer able to play other sounds

Try if the versions are same
or check for the sound wave files that are currently in your system & the system you are copying the files might not be present there.

there mite be two reasons
The links to those sound files are in ur computer
or
The powerpoint that he has not have the sounds that were found on ur version...check whether the versions are the same

either the other computer's speakers are not hooked up right,

or you didn't transfer the whole file.
