There's a shop in Vivo City called Niichi (2nd flr). They sell quite a fair bit of evening gowns at reasonable & affordable prices. Some of the gowns are very nice. Alternatively, if you're thinking of some costumes for your prom with a theme, check out those shops along Bugis area. They do rentals, so you won't burn a hole in yr pocket for something that you'll wear for only 1 night.

I advise you go to City Plaze (Paya Lebar) there. Nice prom nite dresses. Very classy and high class!
Else if, you can buy prom nite dress in JB Holiday Plaza. Cheap siar... Varierty many many. Better don't buy in SIngapore, wait somebody wear the same dress as you, then you "malu"
During my officer prom nite, I bought a S$500 dress for my girlfriend! Up till, she wore 4 times. So beautiful and can wear it to many occassion.
Worth to invest one. :) Get your bf to buy for you lor!

Had forgotten the procuring centre call even if that is in between a hotel and Funan centre . there are a determination of outlets promoting great sizes clothing , if no longer incorrect , they have something like jeans as a lot as length 50 ! those shops are specifically on the basement of that procuring centre . Nearest Mrt station is city hall . gd luck !

I suggest you borrow a dress from a senior who has been to prom the previous year. That way, you can wear it for one night and return at no cost.
Bugis area is great for affordable but not very dressy gowns.
