Being a better person is different for everyone. Some people are good in some ways that can be considered as being a better person. Look at yourself and see how much you give and how much you receive - try to give more than you receive, that way you'll be a better person

For us to be a better person, we need to find a way to combine our bodies into one or else we would just be better people. Once we smash ourselves together, I say we take prescription drugs, cause hey, with all our money and only one body, we are gonna be high forever.

Please stop mixing singular objects and plural pronouns in the same sentence. It is either "we"and "people" or "I" and "person".
That would be my suggestion.
