Hey guy...
Flying dreams are awesome. If you want to have more flying dreams and even be in control of them, you should look into lucid dreaming. It's when you know that you are dreaming while you are still in your dream... It's a really cool feeling, and usually one of the first things I do when I become lucid is fly around. Sometimes like superman, sometimes using energy like in dragonball Z, sometimes just gliding. Always fun.
Check out these links and learn how to dream lucid!!

I had the same dreams when I was a child. Enjoy them, even today as an adult, I would love to be able to fly like superman. But hey, that is just a dream.

I think it means that you are going to grow up and be an engineer. That is what I did.

Wow that is awesome. It is very common for someone to have an out of body experience during their dreams. You are lucky enough to have been conscious enough to remember it. When you leave your body (physical realm) and enter the astral realm you can experience things that defy the laws of the physical realm. It is also great that you do not return to your physical body when you get excited as this means you are accepting what is going on. Take note of what you see around you when you are flying including your feelings, the colours of things / clothing people are wearing etc. And just remember to always accept and enjoy.

Some authorities relate flying dreams to sex (which is bunk, IMO). Others believe that it expresses a wish to escape from some restrictive condition in one's waking life; escaping the restriction of gravity is the metaphor for that. I tend to agree with the second camp.

There are cases where neither theory applies, though. Frex, I'm a lucid dreamer, so I can fly in my dreams whenever I want to (or feel that I need to; escaping from nightmare monsters is much easier when you can flee in three dimensions).

You're striving for freedom in real life, this is reflected in your dreams. Your indication of Superman suggests that it may also be that you are pressured into trying to become someone you are not and the only relief you can have is by imagining yourself to be that person(or a similar model..depends how your thoughts translate it).

I always noticed that nothing ever makes sense in dreams. Both day and sleep dreaming. It means your life might go uphill, I think. Dont worry, I also get excited about dreams with wide open spaces.

Have fun fly around. I can fly in my dreams to only problem is that in my dreams as in real life I suffer from acrophobia (fear of heights). Why wait to get these dreams, try to conjure them and control them. Keep a dream diary you may discover something interesting about your self.

They mean that you are gonna be Superman someday...lol, Just kidding.

I think you were watching Superman all day and dreaming, is basically how your mind reviews all the stuff that has happened that day, so I guess you were having dreams of what you did today or could be...NIGHTMARES!!!!

Dreams tend to be our subconscious minds expressing itself. Falling is deeply routed with a sense of failure. In your case Flying, would show that you desire to be free, that you may feel constrained by something in your life; maybe a loan, or making payments on time. Either way flying is fun! Enjoy it!
