For a person to truly love you they will not betray you or hurt you and are trustworthy. However if they don't respect you enough to be true to you than they really never loved you.

The most important is trust. The simple reason is with out trust there can be no love. Here is the way it works. Trust builds respect' respect builds love. Tare down trust you lose respect' you lose respect love dies.

both are important,but it takes more then trust and love to make a good marriage, such as understanding,patiences,and a lot of hard work. bot dont give up because true love many years of trial and area.

Trust!!!!!!!!! then you can fall in love, if you cant trust someone then you cant fall in love with them as a person, imagine always worrying. No thanks been there. Now I have trust and love and would never again do it the other way round

You may trust someone implicitly, but fall in love with someone else and you will soon find out the destructiveness of falling OUT of love with your spouse. You still care about them and you have history, but there's not an iota of passion or compassion bred from love.. what do you do then?
I'd say love.

Hate to tell you, but in America the divorce rate is climbing ridiculously fast, and it seems that we can't trust anybody. Besides, love takes way too long to commit to so enjoy your life.
