some dogs will shed in the spring and summer to get rid of excess hair that was grown in the winter to help keep them warm.. too much hair they will get hot.. its like you, you wear a coat when its cold you take it off when you go inside and its warm. and some dogs shed year round.. because they have bad nerves.. some recue dogs.. by rescue I mean the ones you can find at your local SPCA or pound that are for adoption some of these animals were previously mistreated or abused and people just tend to make them nervous. there are several reason for it so if you have animal with the a problem of shedding hair you have ask a vet.. also they make a brush called the shed ender.. might have seen it on the tv for sale.. you can get one at walgreens for like 14 bucks.. its a small brush that actually trims the bottom layer of hair on the animal .. it works!! my beagel used to shed all the time hair all over everything i got one of those brushes used it about 6 and ahalf months ago and she doesnt shed anymore.. it actually trimmed her hair just a tiny bit ..made her coat look good I didnt realize how long her hair had gotten till I used one.. I use it on all my dogs
