Yes I called one time when a drunk friend kicked in my front door because I would not open it...I was 20 years old and 5 months pregnant and it was 3 am...turned out that my friends house had been vandalized and he thought I had the people that did it in my house...oh and I didn't get to press charges because he was the sheriff of the county's son and all the reports got lost

Yes I called once when my grandfather was having chest pains they didnt transfer me anywhere they just wanted to know exactly what was wrong , my name, verify the address and phone number and how long it had been going on, and since the ambulance showed up in a couple of minutes. I would say that they were very helpful

I accidentally dialed 9 a bunch of times in a row because the #9 was sticking on the phone I was using and suddenly the police showed up I explained what happened they said dialing 9 will case them to respond also.
My son called one night while I was asleep my wife was in the backyard and she kind of tapped on the window so someone would open the back door he freaked thinking someone was trying to break in my niece woke me and told me so i got on the phone I was trying to explain what happened but they kept asking questions and she said I don't understand how she could be in the back yard and he wouldn't know about it I said well I'm sorry you don't understand and hung up ,a few minutes later the police showed up anyway .

10 years ago I had to call 000 (the equivalent of 911 in Australia) as I was afraid that my husband was having a stroke.
It was false alarm after all.

Yes I had to call 911 once when me,and my husband were drinking, and shooting at cats in the neighbors yard. Our neighbor came over, and started to yell at us,and then my son Bubba came out of the house, and beat the neighbor with a board while me,and my husband kicked him in the face, and ribs. Then we called 911,and said our neighbor was shooting cats, and then attcked us,and set our shed on fire. So we ran outside, and started the shed on fire before the cops, and fire department got there. Our neighbor went to prison for 10 years for animal cruelty for the charge of shooting all those cats, and then he was also sentenced for arson, and assault with a deadly weapon. We laugh about it all the time. What a chump!

Yes, always. The only time I had trouble was one time when I had to use my cell phone to call them, I was put on a machine operator then on hold!
