plants which rarely need sunlight are called indoor plants.these plants can be kept inside houses or below shade but don't forget to keep them outside in sunlight occasionally(preferably within 15-20 days). some indoor plants are.. croton,palm plants,some creepers,money plant,aloevera can also be kept inside.

some common easy to grow house plants start with pothos philodendrons,spider plants,peace Lilly,asparagus fern,Boston fern,rubber plant,fig trees,catus,succulents ,dracenia , ivy's , purple Passion,hoya to name a few

aspidistra is the toughest indoor plant, it's called iron plant, also there are philodendrons, african violets,begonia,ivy, dieffenbachia,cissus,dracaena,syngonium, palms and some ferns as well as many bonsai plants.

Just about any plant that will fit in a pot in your house. My house is a jungle. Impatiens, begonias, ferns, ivy, junco, cyperus, palms, geraniums, scheffelera, elephant ear, pothos, coleus, marigold, hibiscus, dianthus, norfork island pine, LOTS and lots. When in doubt, try it! happy household gardening.
