I need to take one more college course to graduate, and I want to take it online, but all of the online courses at my university are full. Is there somewhere else I can go to take it online and still have it applied to my degree? Thank you so much!!!

It depends on your university's policies on accepting transfer credits. Some schools don't accept them unless from specific other schools, or unless they are introductory-level classes, etc. You'll have to check with your advisor for their policies.

While you're there, ask about petitioning into a closed course; most universities will allow a class to be overfull by one student, especially if you only have one more class needed to graduate.

Yes, there are several online colleges that offer courses. However, you should make sure you can transfer the credit over to your university so that they will let you graduate..

Check your colleges policy on who they accept transfers from, and their policy on CLEP exams. Then depending on the class, CLEP the thing--get a study guide off of ebay first. If you don't want to CLEP it, and your college accepts transfers from most/all major universities, go to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU--erau.edu) and look at their schedule of online classes--find the one that is equivelent to what you need. I've taken 3 from them (lower level) and they are 12 weeks long. The nest courses will be starting on Jan 15th though.

My friend was in a similar situation; she ended up taking the course at a community college then transferring the credits (it was a lower div reading/writing class). Go talk to your adviser; they should be able to send you in the right direction. Good luck!

I have had great luck with Capella University. They have an undergraduate set of programs as well as graduate programs. Maybe you could find something here. Good luck!
