Some of them:

I've travelled (Europe, NYC, etc) and taken thousands of photos.
I got my Bachelor of Arts degree & won several awards.
I've been published (poems in literary journals).
I've been on TV (commercial & small part in a movie).
I've been on the cover of the newspaper.
I've shown my artwork & sold 2 paintings.
I've written 200 songs & am working on my second CD.
I've met my soulmate.
I bought a new house in a new community. That was the most daring thing I ever did. To start a whole new life on my own. But it's been the best thing I ever did.

I still have a lot of things to cross off my lifetime to do list:

Write a novel.
Publish a book of poems.
Travel more (Egypt & Greece would be two top choices though I'd love to go back to Italy. I just can't afford to travel much now with the mortgage to pay).
Go skydiving (I want to try this one day! It's so expensive though!)
Go horseback riding.
Fly in a hot air balloon.
Become a better musician.
Get a record deal or sell a lot of CD's independently.
Exhibit my work in art galleries & sell several pieces.
Make enough money as an artist/singer/writer so that I don't have to work at a job I hate anymore. To make a living doing the things I love, instead of just having them as a hobby.
Exercise more (start doing yoga again, taking better care of myself.)
Be more positive (I tend to be a little neurotic & negative. Sometimes my own worst enemy. But I'm working on it...)

I'm proud of my accomplishments but there are still things I want to do. You're never really "done" there's always room to grow, new things to learn, new experiences to have.

I'm happy with where I am though. I've come a long way.

Anyway, thanks for reminding me. I guess I should be making those pesky new year's resolutions & get off my butt & start doing some of these things instead of procrastinating!

Well so far.. yes, I have met whatever goals that I had set for myself. But then it's a never ending process and with age your preferences and goals do vary. What you thought was the optimum may not be of any relevance today! As I said its a never ending process and they are the ones which motivate me.

goals differ according to individuals i am on the way to attain my goals before that i need to tacle all the small aims for eg like the football court.how a player faces all the players (aims)and attains the goal if he is able to tackle it.

My goal in life is not to be bored. Unfortunately, once I've achieved that, what happens afterwards?

Nope! Still struggling to attain...... I know I have the capacity, and the capability..... Faith in myself is something I fail to remember.... and so, I get wrapped up in my own warped ideals... and things around me that I forget what I planned.... Something I consider, "Off the beaten path".....

But, it's questions like this that remind me that I was actually trying to do something with my life......

Thx for asking!!!

Ginger
