I'm not sure. That would be pretty cool if it's true! Maybe the brain is like a computer that deletes files that aren't necessary. My memory seems pretty arbitrary to me. Sometimes I'll struggle to remember things that are important & I can't, yet other meaningless random stray facts or song lyrics or unnecessary things are stuck in my head. I don't get it! I don't always get to choose what to remember & what to forget. Sometimes I think my brain is full! So stuffed with information during my education & then the constant onslaught of details at my tedious job...I'm running out of disk space! Tee hee. I really should defragment it one of these days! Ha ha

That would be very efficient if the brain disposed of unimportant files. It probably does to some degree. Every day we take in so much sensory information we can't possibly store it all. Some things are lost immediately, others may stick around a while. Some never leave us. Even if we want them to....

Yes, the same way as a bank account is designated as dormant when not used for a long time. A simple logic like that is used for putting unused information or knowledge in our brain into a less accessible path or a backbench...... it is perhaps not the best way to decide what is not important but no other method could perhaps achieve the purpose of not clogging up memory in regular use. There is perhaps a randomness too about it.

definately NOT! its the silly little uninportant things i remember & all the other stuff i actually NEED to remember is out the freakin window. I live my life by lists & fone alarms that go off with what it is that i have to do flashing at me from the screen. How bad is that?? when i can remember who said what in an argument over some stupid thing about 8 years ago!

I thoroughly believe you. The "activity creators" are playing lame duck to have the means to do away with obama. what happens in monopoly whilst all the properties are offered or already owned. and what happens whilst one majority controls the money. comparable concept purely that great firms (wal-mart, costco, Hospitals, coverage business organisation's) will pretend to be harm and decrease jobs to maintain salary up. if coverage business organisation's make $a million billion one 3 hundred and sixty 5 days will they loose all of it in the event that they make $a million million much less? i think of no longer. what happens if I made shoes for a residing for nike and that they fireplace me. I relatively have my skills how incorrect is it to apply my skills and make my very own shoe to sell will i make tens of millions my first 3 hundred and sixty 5 days? billions? extra desirable than no longer quite so why might nike spend tens of millions on attorneys to close me down (basically an occasion) it quite is whats incorrect with united statesa. we are binded by rules and rules set to guard company activity so as that they are the only ones offering products and centers.

I don't think so.... because somewhere in the back of the mind, it exists.... If we have experienced it, it is there.... We may forget for all the "new" incoming messages of our life's story..... which we think are more relevant to the life we live.....

But, even if we get alzheimer's, all our experiences are piled somewhere in the maze of our thoughts...... We may not remember, but everything is there.....
